Nursery
Welcome to our nursery! Our small, nurturing team strives to create a warm and inviting environment that encourages exploration, creativity and a love of learning. We provide a variety of resources and activities to engage and stimulate your child’s curiosity. We are dedicated to ensuring that every child receives the highest quality care and education and feels seen and valued.
We are proud to be part of St Paul’s C of E School and teach and withhold the expectations and values of Kind, Safe and Best. We believe in treating each other with kindness, working to keep ourselves and others safe and always doing our best. Our children learn these expectations quickly which help them to share, take turns and develop empathy towards each other. We want to lay a strong foundation for your children’s future interactions and academic success.
The Details
St Paul’s Nursery is run by St Paul’s C of E Primary School and is a Governor led setting, with a fully qualified teacher leading and overseeing the Nursery. We offer care and education to children aged 2 years until school entry. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.30-3.30pm and Wednesday 8.30 – 11.30am, term time only.
We recognise how important it is for you and your child to get to know the nursery so that you can both feel relaxed and at ease. We therefore have a two week settling in periods to gently introduce ourselves and form a strong foundational relationship with your child. This way, your child can learn the routines, make new friends and get to know their key worker.
Session Times
We offer morning and afternoon session of 3 hours: 8.30 - 11.30 or 12.30 - 3.30
Please note: We only run a morning session on a Wednesday.
For those 3-4 year olds wanting to stay all day we have a lunch club (bring your own packed lunch) which runs 11.30-12.30. 2- year olds are welcome at any of our morning sessions. Please contact us for information on availability.
